There are some today who don\u2019t believe in the Messiah (Jesus Christ). There are some people and groups who only refer to the Old Testament sections of the Holy Bible. However, there are many prophesies concerning Christ which were written in the Old Testament which were fulfilled in many cases within the pages of the New Testament.<\/p>\n

Old Testament Prophecies:<\/p>\n

Genesis 3:15: \u201cAnd I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. \u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Genesis: 22: 17-18: \u201d That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;\u201d verse 18 \u201d And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
\nGenesis : 28:14: \u201d And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Genesis 49:10: \u201cThe sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Genesis 49:11: \u201cBinding his foal unto the vine, and his ass\u2019s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Genesis 49:12: \u201cHis eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 18:15: \u201cThe Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;\u201d
\nDeuteronomy 18:16: \u201cAccording to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God,
\nneither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.\u201d
\nDeuteronomy 18:17: \u201cAnd the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.\u201d
\nDeuteronomy 18:18: \u201cI will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.\u201d
\nDeuteronomy 18:19: \u201cAnd it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

2 Samuel 7:12: \u201cAnd when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.\u201d
\n2 Samuel 7:13: \u201cHe shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his
\nkingdom for ever.\u201d
\n2 Samuel 7:14: \u201cI will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will
\nchasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:\u201d
\n2 Samuel 7:15: \u201cBut my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.\u201d
\n2 Samuel 7:16: \u201cAnd thine house and thy kingdom shall be established forever before
\nthee: thy throne shall be established forever\u201d.
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Psalms 2:1:\u201d Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?\u201d
\nPsalms 2:2: \u201cThe kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together,
\nagainst the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,\u201d
\nPsalms 2:3: \u201cLet us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Psalms 2:7: \u201cI will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.\u201d

Psalms 22:16: \u201cFor dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.\u201d
\nPsalms 22:17: \u201cI may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.\u201d
\nPsalms 22:18: \u201cThey part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Psalms 35:11: \u201cFalse witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.\u201d
\nPsalms 35:12: \u201cThey rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Psalms 69:21: \u201cThey gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Psalms 110:4: \u201cThe Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Proverbs 8:22: \u201cThe Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his
\nworks of old.\u201d
\nProverbs 8:23: \u201cI was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.\u201d
\nProverbs 8:24: \u201cWhen there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.\u201d
\nProverbs 8:25: \u201cBefore the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:\u201d
\nProverbs 8:26: \u201cWhile as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.\u201d
\nProverbs 8:27: \u201cWhen he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:\u201d
\nProverbs 8:28: \u201cWhen he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:\u201d
\nProverbs 8:29: \u201cWhen he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his
\ncommandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:\u201d
\nProverbs 8:30: \u201cThen I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;\u201d
\nProverbs 8:31: \u201cRejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the
\nsons of men.\u201d

Proverbs 30:4: \u201cWho hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son\u2019s name, if thou canst tell?\u201d

Isaiah 7:14: \u201cTherefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.\u201d

Isaiah 9:1: \u201cNevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.\u201d
\nIsaiah 9:2: \u201cThe people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Isaiah 9:6: \u201cFor unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government
\nshall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The
\nmighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.\u201d
\nIsaiah 9:7: \u201cOf the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and
\nwith justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.\u201d

Isaiah 53:3: \u201cHe is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Isaiah 53:12: \u201cTherefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for
\nthe transgressors.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Isaiah 55:4: \u201cBehold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Isaiah 61:1: \u201cThe spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;\u201d
\nIsaiah 61:2: \u201cTo proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;\u201d
\nFULFILLED<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 31:15: \u201cThus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.\u201d

Ezekial 37:22: \u201cAnd I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:\u201d

Daniel 9:25: Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
\nDaniel 9:26: And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Daniel 10:5: Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
\nDaniel 10:6: \u201cHis body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

Micah 5:2: \u201cBut thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.\u201d

Zechariah 9:9: \u201cRejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.\u201d

Zechariah 11:12: \u201cAnd I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.\u201d

Malachi 3:1: \u201cBehold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.\u201d

2 Esdras 7:28: \u201cFor my son Jesus shall be revealed with those that be with him, and they that remain shall rejoice within four hundred years.\u201d
\n2 Esdras 7:29: \u201cAfter these years shall my son Christ die, and all men that have life.\u201d
